Currently, Cleavap HRMS supports one company per customer ID. If you own multiple companies, you will need to purchase separate licenses for each organization. While a single customer ID cannot manage multiple companies, each license provides full access and functionality for the respective company, ensuring secure and organized management of your workforce.
Yes. Cleavap is designed for hybrid, remote, and field teams. Employees can mark attendance using facial recognition from any smartphone, and you get real-time visibility of attendance and work hours.
Cleavap includes a built-in payroll module, and all attendance data flows into payroll automatically. You don’t need any extra integration or hardware – everything works out of the box.
Setup is simple and completed within 2–3 working days, with step-by-step guidance from the software and continuous support from our team whenever needed.
Yes, you can cancel your Cleavap subscription at any time. Once your cancellation request is processed, all your account data is permanently deleted from our system to ensure complete privacy and security. If you ever decide to return, you can start fresh by creating a new account.
Not at all. You can use any mobile, tablet, laptop or desktop computer to use Cleavap HRMS. It works for Windows, MAC and Linux; you just need a browser to access the Cleavap HRMS.
Any android supported smartphone can act as your attendance device using the Cleavap Terminal app. No biometric machine or costly hardware is required.

Can I generate HR letters in PDF format in Cleavap HRMS?

Pricing, Billing & Account Related
Cleavap HRMS follows a pay-as-you-use billing model with a one-time setup charge. You are charged only for what you actually use.
Billing is calculated based on:
- The number of active employees in your account
- The additional services you have enabled
- The add-on modules activated
Unlike many other HRMS platforms, Cleavap calculates billing on a per-day basis, ensuring complete fairness and transparency. This means you pay only for the actual number of days and features used – nothing more.
All charges are subject to GST as per prevailing government regulations.
Additional features such as HR Letters, Employee Self-Service (ESS) Portal, Mobile App, Stay & Grow Programs, and more are value-added modules designed to enhance your HR experience and automate operations to a greater extent.
You have complete flexibility to choose and activate only the features you need in your Cleavap account. Charges apply only to the additional features you opt for, on top of your base plan.
Each additional feature is priced per employee, per month.
The cost is calculated based on the number of active employees in your Cleavap account. If your active employee count is below the defined minimum requirement for a feature, billing will be applied for the minimum required number of employees.
This approach keeps pricing simple, transparent, and scalable as your organization grows.
Add-on modules such as Terminal Access, Geo-Fencing, IP Restriction, Live Location Tracking, and more are priced per employee, per month.
Unlike standard features, add-on modules are charged only for the specific employees for whom the module is activated. This means you are billed only for employees who actually need these add-ons, not your entire workforce.
This flexible pricing model helps you control costs, avoid unnecessary expenses, and scale usage based on real operational needs.
Yes. DNB MULTIAPPS LLP is a GST-registered company, and you will receive a valid GST invoice for every payment made on the Cleavap platform. All invoices are generated transparently and can be used for accounting and compliance purposes.
The billing cycle in Cleavap HRMS is unique to each customer. Your billing cycle starts on the day your Cleavap HRMS account is activated and renews on the same date every month.
For example, if your account is activated on the 10th, your billing cycle will run from the 10th of one month to the 9th of the next month.
You also have the flexibility to change your billing cycle at any time to better align with your financial or accounting requirements.
Once a proforma invoice is generated by the system, you are provided a 5-day grace period to complete the payment.
We recommend processing the payment as soon as the proforma invoice is generated to avoid any interruption. If the proforma invoice expires without payment, access to Cleavap HRMS – including employee access – will be suspended.
Yes. You can make payments using UPI, debit cards, credit cards, or net banking. Cleavap HRMS supports all modern and secure online payment methods to ensure a smooth and hassle-free payment experience.
If payment is not completed within the allowed grace period and the proforma invoice expires, your access to Cleavap HRMS will be disabled.
Once access is disabled due to non-payment, all company and employee data is permanently deleted from the Cleavap system. Data cannot be recovered after deletion.
To avoid any data loss or service interruption, we strongly recommend clearing payments within the grace period or reaching out to our support team in advance if assistance is required.
Terminal App for Attendance
Cleavap Terminal is a powerful mobile application that transforms any smartphone into a smart, fully functional attendance machine. It uses advanced facial recognition technology to accurately capture employee attendance from any device, anytime.
With Cleavap Terminal, you eliminate the need to purchase expensive biometric hardware or maintain separate attendance machines. Everything works seamlessly through your smartphone – simple, fast, and cost-effective.
At the moment, the Cleavap Terminal App is available only for Android devices. Our team is actively working on developing the iOS version, and it will be released soon. We’re committed to expanding compatibility so every business can use Cleavap with ease, regardless of their device.
Yes. The Cleavap Terminal App is designed to capture attendance for all employees from a single device, just like a physical attendance machine. It supports facial attendance and is ideal for offices, factories, and shared entry points.
There is no limit on the number of terminals you can create. You are free to set up as many terminals as needed based on your business size, locations, or shift requirements.
Yes. An employee can punch in from multiple terminals. Cleavap HRMS securely records all attendance logs and processes them on the server to ensure accurate and reliable attendance calculation.
You also have full control to restrict or allow employee access to specific terminals or grant access to all terminals, based on your internal policies.

Yes. Cleavap includes a complete leave management system. You can set leave policies, track leave balances, approve or reject requests, and manage holidays – everything happens automatically.
Yes. Cleavap HRMS includes a Leave Adjustment feature that allows HR managers to manually add or remove any type of leave for an employee. This provides flexibility to correct errors, accommodate special cases, or update leave balances quickly and accurately, ensuring smooth leave management across your organization.
Cleavap HRMS allows you to create multiple leave profiles based on your organization’s leave policies. Each leave profile can have its own rules, accruals, and limits.
You can easily assign different leave profiles to employees based on role, department, location, or employment type – giving you complete control while keeping leave management simple and accurate.
It’s simple. While creating a leave policy in Cleavap HRMS, you can define specific leave eligibility rules for probation, training, and notice periods.
Once configured, Cleavap HRMS automatically applies these rules and manages leave eligibility exactly as defined – ensuring consistency, compliance, and zero manual intervention.
Yes. Cleavap HRMS allows you to define custom carry-forward rules for different leave types at the end of each leave cycle.
You can choose to:
- Carry forward the entire leave balance
- Carry forward a partial balance
- Disable carry-forward completely
These rules are applied automatically, ensuring accurate leave balances without any manual adjustments.
You have two options to add existing leave balances:
- Add balances while allocating a leave profile to an employee.
- Import leave balances in bulk using an Excel file for multiple employees at once.
Cleavap HRMS comes with standard leave types already configured:
- Paid Leave (PL)
- Casual Leave (CL)
- Sick Leave (SL)
- Compensatory Off (CO)
Custom leave types cannot be created, ensuring consistency and compliance with standard HR practices.
Employees can choose to apply for full-day or half-day leave. They can also select whether the leave will be deducted from their leave balance or recorded as Loss of Pay (LOP). Cleavap automatically calculates leave balances and payroll implications accordingly.
Yes! Employees can apply for leave directly via the Employee Self-Service (ESS) portal. Leave requests are automatically routed to their reporting manager for approval. HR can also approve or reject leave requests on behalf of managers if needed.

Yes. Cleavap HRMS allows you to permanently delete all your data at any time. Please note that this action cannot be undone, and once deleted, your data cannot be restored as no backup is maintained. Make sure to carefully consider before using this option to avoid accidental loss of important information.
